If you come by car, just follow the signs to Split. When you arrive in Croatia, you can take a local roads or drive a highway from Zagreb, Rijeka or Osijek to Split. If you come by train or bus, take a ticket to
Split. In Split, you have only few steps to the ferry terminal. If you come by plane, take a flight to Split Airport. Then, you can hire a car at the airport when you arrive or in peak season pre book a car. Proceed in your hire car or by taxi to Split ferry terminal (it is about 30 minutes drive from the airport). The Split ferry terminal is clearly sign when you get into the city. On arrival at the car ferry terminal you need to buy your ferry ticket to Supetar (Brac). There are several ticket offices with the sign "Jadrolinija" or "Split tours". Remember to buy a ticket for the car and the number of passengers and ask the ticket office for the terminal number that the ferry departs and the time of departure. Drive your car up to ferry terminal and wait in the queue. Allow yourself an hour to get the tickets and queue for cars. The ferry takes about 45 minutes and is a pleasant yourney. You can sit inside in air conditioned lounge or on the top deck and sunbath and see the sites of Split and Supetar. Dolphins and seagulls can sometimes be seen during the trip. When you arrive at Supetar, drive off the ferry and go straight around 100 meters. Take the first street on your right side (the Vrilo street) and the first house on the left in the Vrilo street is villa "De Luxe". |
